Milton-Freewater Rural Fire Department is a progressive department in North Eastern Oregon. Our area covers 325 square miles of diverse terrain and population. From rolling dry land hills on our west side to the forested slopes of the Blue Mountains on our east. We run three ALS ambulances and twelve fire apparatuses out of three stations with a combination of paid and volunteer staff totaling thirty members. Our population base covers urban, rural, and frontier with a growing interface problem. (more)
